This article aims at establishing a test strategy because the development of a test strategy is a means of communication with the customer on the organization of testing. Moreover this article talks about why we need a test strategy and what happens if there are no test strategies. Finally, a test strategy will keep the customers aware of the extent to which the testing would be done thereby avoiding risks later.
Shiva Kumar holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and focuses on Software Quality Assurance. He has his specialization in designing Test strategies and has contributed an article on the same. He is one of the key members in the Software Quality Assurance team in Think Business Networks and he has also worked as a full-time member in the Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG), involving himself in the process definition for his organization which is heading towards SEI-CMM. At present he controls the Software Quality Assurance Team for the project Digital Nervous System, which basically automates the software processes. He is also one of the founder member of Software Process Improvement Network, Coimbatore.
