Must we use DB2 for a ClearQuest test database if we use DB2 for ClearQuest?

We have a DB2 database for ClearQuest, but need to set up the Test Database. Is it a requirement that the test dabase also be DB2 or can I just use an Access database for testing purposes?

It seems likely that I'd need to use a DB2 database, but creating one is a huge pain.

can anyone help me? I'm shold exporting data from Microsoft Excel document and importing them into ClearQuest version 7.1.....there is some tutorial that explain the procedure to importing data into ClearQuest 7.1 from Ms Escel?
