I am getting error "Project already exists and the multiple local project instances option is disabled" while creating a subproject in CM Synergy

In CM Synergy,I tried to convert an existing directory into a subproject.But I am receiving this error.

the name has been used in several projects,but the name has to be retained same as per requirement.

hey I am working on getting this posted in the forums - but I hit a little glitch that should get fixed today.

The full warning text is: Project projectname already exists and the multiple local project instances option is disabled.

This was encountered when attempting to incrementally migrate in a development team's code for previous product releases. (A developer attempting to migrate in new code into their working project would likely never encounter this warning.)

There are two considerations here:

1. You must be attempting to migrate into an existing project - either a prep project if running as build manager, or a working project if running as a developer.
2. The directory structure being migrated must not include a top-level directory that is the same as the project being migrated into. For an incremental migration, just migrate in the _contents_ of the top-level directory, not including the top-level directory itself.
