could you please explain what you want to cover in a CM Audit? The IEEE 828 standard is used widely to explain how to define CM Plans and CM Audit is one of the functions. CM Audits are usually physical or functional. The physical audit verifies that the correct CIs are in place and the functional audit verifies that the CIs are performing as they should.
