What are the Advantages of CA SCM over IBM Clearcase

I need help with advantages of CA SCM over IBM Clearcase. If any one has a document or a presentation already prepared, please let me know.

Mir, I don't have a document prepared but as an experienced user/consultant in both products I can provide some high-level feedback:

CA SCM is more intuitive to use,
CA SCM requires less training and admin resource,
CA SCM performs better,
CA SCM does, effectively, achieve the equivalent of both ClearCase & ClearQuest (one product, not two), and
CA SCM can be implemented 'Agentlessly'.

These are just a few off the top of my head. The obvious bias is towards CA SCM but that is purely my opinion, from experience.

It may be worth also looking at Rational Team Concert which, I believe, is the product from IBM that is superceding ClearCase/Quest.

Hey everyone,

I just want to reinforce Jame's point. We are blessed with many great vendors who do indeed make excellent products. I have used and supported many source code management and lately ALM solutions. I used & supported ClearCase 2.1 through 7.1.

IBM's Rational Team Concert (RTC) is absolutely fantastic. Accurev (long a leader in this arena) has an amazing integration with Git that is also sure to be a winner. So my point is don't fight last years war :-)

Make sure that you are comparing to the latest and greatest solutions!
