Thanks for your contact. I am using clearcase 7.0.1.0 and windows XP SP3.
My dynamic view is in F: drive and I have full permissions to my system and ALBD service is also have permissions and the service is running as well. I have 10GB free space in F drive and 25 GB free space in C drive.
Other users are not facing this issue. This is bit interesting me. I am really worried for this situation.
what version of ClearCase are you using? what version of Windows?
Did you take a look at the event log?
You said that you had a dynamic view installed locally so please confirm that the view storage area is on the C: drive.
Do you have local admin rights on your machine? Does the clearcase_albd service account have admin rights as well? Did you check the event log? ** IMPORTANT **
Did you try creating another dynamic view on this machine? How much disk space do you have on this machine? Are there other users and are they having trouble as well or are they using ClearCase (in the same manner) without trouble?
