General IO error.java.net.SocketException: Connection reset in CM Synergy 6.5

Hello,

Some of our developers get General IO error.java.net.SocketException: Connection reset error when they do sync work area.

Recommendation:Please check data communication,protocol data etc.,.

Any advise to me.

BTW Synergy Version is 6.5 ,Client: Windows XP,sever:Unix

This sometimes happens if the patch level of the client does not match the patch level of the server. You should also be aware that Synergy 6.5 has been out of standard maintenance for some years now. Currently supported releases include 7.1 and 7.2.
