I have been working on SVN for more than 2 years, and one of the features i admired in this tool, is that it can be coupled with Standard web-container like Apache to extract logs on usage management. (better security).
Do you know if a setup like that can (or had existed) for CM Synergy (v:7.1), where i can procure the list of users on demand, irrespective of the source repositories hosted in the tool

Wanted to understand a situtation: My developers checkins code (majorly) into any bug they feel like & mention bug number which they have fixed in CR. I want to bring in strict process of checkin code in bug which they want to send in CR. Is this something unexpected i am asking or difficult or become bottleneck to my developers? Any best practices shared?
Below is my scenrios-
Case 1 - CR has 1 master bug having 5 child bugs, Commited code in some other X bug which is no where linked in these bugs.
1. The default rules ignore .o files and obj directory. We built .o files in a lib directory and added to the mapping_rules after INCLDUE ATUO RULES to override and Set Type of .o to 'library'. The admin did a DB refresh,and still Sync (from the GUI) does not show any .o files for the build manager's int prep project.
I can manually add a file of .o and set the type to 'library'. If I set the file to prodcut and recompile it, will a command line reconclie update the .o on an auto task (ie the builder doesn't need to provide an assigned task ID)?
We are using Teamtrack for defect tracking. Now we see more than 30 to 40 applications using teamtrack.
My questions is it possible to list the applications which are using Teamtrack. Do we have any DB query?

We call deploy scripts(cmd files) through our own make xml files from cruisecontrol. In the deploy CMD files there is error level return explicitly mentioned. But still cruise control does not catch the errors. Logs show it as failed but reports sucessfull. Below is how we call deploy scripts.
1. from cruisecontrol config.xml we call our own xml file like below

How can I undo a delivery in ClearCase UCM after the delivery is complete?

I have created new objects in the work area, and performed the sync work area. However, the Synergy Work area conflict window does not show the new objects. However, the same is working fine for another user. I verified the folders permission, and it looks good.
Can some one help me, what could be the problem ?

We have installed CQ 7.0.1 on Win2003. We do notice that CQ is responding vey slow while navigating the states.
We are using Apache web server and i do see that there are 252 threads of apache are running.
Kindly let me know if there are any performance tips.

We have some need to allow self-registration with ClearQuest for some database. We have integrated CQ with LDAP. Appreciate your ideas on the same.
One way i thought is too have link in CQ startup screen for self-registration which will get all relevant info from user and via perl create new account in CQ.
